In a pioneering development for Bangladesh, Prime Bank in partnership with Mastercard has introduced the country’s first numberless debit card. Integrated with Prime Bank’s Prime Now digital platform, this card conceals critical details such as the CVV, card number, and expiry date, making it virtually invisible to potential fraudsters. The innovation significantly reduces the risk of card information being copied, skimmed, or visually stolen.

Tanjil Chowdhury, Chairman of Prime Bank, stated, “Over the past thirty years, our bank has built its service on trust and reliability. By launching this numberless card, we are setting a new benchmark in customer privacy and digital control. It empowers our clients with enhanced security while maintaining seamless access to financial services.”

Established in 1995, Prime Bank is a leading private commercial bank headquartered on Gulshan Avenue, Dhaka, with 149 branches and 158 ATMs across the country.
